Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken and Pasta: Start by boiling the fettuccine pasta until just al dente, then drain and set aside. Meanwhile, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook in a skillet until browned and cooked through. Shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces and keep warm.
  2. Make the Creamy Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté the chopped garlic and onions until fragrant. Stir in the heavy cream substitute and vegetarian Worcestershire sauce, whisking gently to combine. Slowly add the plant-based cheese, stirring until melted and smooth. Sprinkle in the natural gelling agent while stirring continuously to achieve a perfect creamy consistency.
  3. Combine Ingredients and Assemble: Add the shredded chicken, cooked pasta, and smoked turkey bacon into the sauce mixture, stirring to coat everything evenly with the creamy sauce. Transfer the mixture into a greased casserole dish, smoothing out the top evenly.
  4. Bake and Garnish: Bake the casserole at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top. Once out of the oven, sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on the surface for a pop of color and fresh flavor.
