Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken and Broccoli: Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and chop the fresh broccoli into small florets. Lightly steam or blanch the broccoli so it stays bright green and crisp but tender enough to mix easily with the sauce later.
  2. Cook the Pasta: Boil your preferred pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve a cup of pasta water for adjusting sauce consistency if needed.
  3. Sauté Garlic and Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and fully cooked through.
  4. Make the Creamy Alfredo Sauce: Reduce the heat to low and add the plant-based milk, shredded plant-based cheese, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), apple cider vinegar, and natural gelling agent to the skillet. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens smoothly. Add the steamed broccoli and mix well.
  5. Combine and Serve: Gently toss the cooked pasta into the sauce until fully coated. If the sauce is too thick, add some reserved pasta water to loosen it. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving warm.
