Description

Easy Deviled Eggs with a creamy plant-based cheese filling, smoky turkey bacon, and a touch of vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural). Perfect for quick, flavorful appetizers suitable for any occasion, customizable with herbs and spices.

Ingredients

Scale

Eggs

  • 6 large eggs, hard-boiled

Filling

  • 1/4 cup plant-based cream cheese (plant-based)
  • 3 slices smoked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 tsp vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural)
  • 1 tsp mustard (natural)
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise (natural)

Seasonings and Garnishes

  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh herbs (such as chives or parsley), chopped
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (natural), for dusting
  • Fresh herb sprigs (chives or parsley), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard-Boil the Eggs: Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring the water to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Transfer eggs to an ice bath immediately to stop cooking and make peeling easier.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Once peeled, slice eggs in half and carefully remove yolks into a mixing bowl. Add plant-based cream cheese (plant-based), chopped smoked turkey bacon, vegetarian Worcestershire sauce (natural), mustard (natural), and mayonnaise (natural). Mash and mix until creamy and well combined.
  3. Season the Mixture: Sprinkle in salt, pepper, and fresh herbs of your choice. Stir again to distribute evenly. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  4. Fill the Egg Whites: Use a spoon or piping bag to fill each egg white half with the creamy yolk mixture. Be generous but neat for an appetizing appearance.
  5. Garnish and Chill: Lightly dust paprika (natural) on top and add a small sprig of chives or parsley for a final touch. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.

Notes

  • Use slightly older eggs to ensure easier peeling after boiling.
  • Blend the filling until smooth for the creamiest texture possible.
  • Use a piping bag to create elegant, uniform servings without any mess.
  • Chill before serving to help flavors marry and keep eggs fresh.
  • Prepare no more than one day ahead to maintain texture and taste.
